SAFE is a non-profit professional association that serves as a common platform for professionals to share problems, ideas and information. With Chapters established across the globe, SAFE boasts an international membership dedicated to advancing knowledge in its field.
Formation of the European Chapter
The European chapter of SAFE was established in 1982 to further the benefits offered by the SAFE Association. Its formation aimed to stimulate research and development within Europe in the areas of Safety and Survival and to facilitate the flow of information between government and industry. Another key objective was to develop and sustain meaningful connections between the SAFE Association and scientific communities focused on Safety and Survival.
Annual Symposium and Exhibition
Currently, SAFE (Europe) organises an annual symposium and exhibition which acts as an excellent forum for the exchange of ideas and information. This event brings together industry representatives, procurement agencies, and research establishments engaged in Safety and Survival for both civilian and military applications.
The primary objective of the SAFE Association is to stimulate research and development in the fields of safety and survival.
The SAFE Association operates to disseminate pertinent information to concerned individuals in government and industry. In addition, the objective is to establish and maintain a meaningful relationship between the SAFE Association and the scientific communities related to safety and survival.
